Best Hand-held shower kit I've used
Easy to install. I only needed a small 3 inch extension pipe to bring main shower head line out enough for a perfect fit. I like the fact that the system allows you to have a hand-held shower at a lower access point, it is adjustable as it slides up and down. That is a plus for kids, while still having your original shower head or the new one that comes in the kit. The Bostonian hand held sprayer is connected to the main shower head line so there is no need for additional plumbing. It's the best kit I have seen with this type of design.

No water pressure
Beautiful shower, HOWEVER, it destroyed whatever water pressure we had. Only drips come out of the main head (not exaggerating), and there is virtually no water pressure in the handheld unit.

Kills water pressure...at least in our bathroom
This is an elegant and beautiful fixture but the middle hardware (the part with the personal shower nozzle) totally killed the water pressure in our bathroom. After multiple visits from a plumber, we finally determined that it was the valve/pipe that runs down the middle of the fixture that was causing the issue. There's a valve the water runs through that has a hole the size of a pea. It was pretty much unusable. After pulling all that middle hardware out (and of course refinishing the wall!), the rainhead works great. Unless you have fire-hose pressure in your home, I would not recommend this unit.

Shower hardware
The Bostonian shower hardware is as good as advertised. We are very happy with the quality and look of the fixtures. They compliment our new European style shower like icing on a cake.
