A slide bolt for extra privacy and beveled edges highlight the Cast Iron Privacy Rim Lock with Porcelain Knobs.
- Made of cast iron.
- All interior parts are solid brass.
- Includes two knobs, rim lock, catch plate and knob escutcheon.
- Rim lock is fully reversible with a privacy lock.
- Small dimensions: 3-7/8" L x 3/4" W (front to back) x 2-7/8" H with 2-3/4" latch backset. Small catch plate measures 1-1/2" L x 3/4" W (front to back) x 2-7/8" H.
- Large dimensions: 5-3/8" L x 1-1/16" W (front to back) x 3-3/4" H with 3-7/8" latch backset. Catch plate measures 2-7/8" L x 1-1/16" W (front to back) x 3-3/4" H.
- 2-1/4" diameter door knobs with one 1-7/8" diameter escutcheon.
- Spindle is 4-1/2" in length with 16 threads per inch.
- Installation hardware included.
- Left or right handing.

Perfect in my farmhouse
I am restoring a late 1800's farmhouse. It still had some original rim lock door sets that I was able to use, but I was short one. The one I bought looks just like the original ones. Works great.

Nice Product
It is as described. What is very nice is that you are provided with double the number of screws and fasteners for the job so if you strip a screw putting it in or drop one in the shag rug trying to install the lock you have backup.
