Brass strap hinges
We love the strap hinges. They look perfect on our refinished, family-built chest! I just wish the back bracket piece was longer so we could actually screw it onto the bottom section of the chest and have it fully functional. Because the cover to the chest is thick, we put the strap hinges on as ornamental pieces and lift the chest cover like a cookie jar.
