Very Sturdy, but double check the screw holes!
The dimensions of both brackets were identical, but the placement of the screw holes caused us some confusion when we were measuring/drilling the holes. I would recommend marking which is going to be your left/right bracket prior to starting this project. After figuring that out, we are very pleased with the brackets! We used drywall anchors in addition to the screws included and they worked great!

What the product pic does not show
The product pic does not show the texture of the powder coat finish. I ordered the brackets in black. The black powder coat ( as mentioned in other reviews) has a gritty, course sand paper ( I'd say 80 grit!) texture and pitch black color. A gentle sanding with a foam sanding block and sand paper smoothed it out nicely and dulled the pitch black to a nice wrought iron black color and texture. I suppose I could go a step further and paint them. The brackets are strong and the right size for the microwave oven shelf I'm making. 10 minutes sanding makes them 5 star brackets and totally worth it for the price.

Caution on Black finish
This is a quality, sturdy bracket. However, the site should mention that the black powder coat finish is a toothy, sandpaper like finish that probably holds up well in outdoor applications, but feels too rough for an interior application. We will be either sanding to a smoother finish and then painting or returning the item.

Great Product
It was hard to find a simple, rustic, quality bracket for our reclaimed wood breakfast bar. These worked out perfectly. The black powder coat looks amazing.

Rust never sleeps
This is a great bracket; sturdy and modern looking. However, buyers should beware that the "rust" color actually has a powdery rust finish. I had to clear coat mine or risk having rust smears all over our white walls. That goes for the screws too.
